The Vengeful Heiress

Mu Xiaokui is the fiercely disciplined daughter and heir of Patriarch Mu Tian. Believing Soul to be the cold-blooded murderer of her father, she marshals the remaining loyalist legions and advanced occult puppets to intercept him in the misty waterways of the Village of Lu.

3-Phase Boss Battle Architecture

Mu Xiaokui features one of the most dynamic encounters in Phantom Blade Zero, testing players across fencing, hand-to-hand kung fu, and crowd-control mechanics:

Phase 1: Young Mistress of the Order

  • Fighting Style: High-precision thrusts and sweeping crescent qi projectiles using the Wild Oriole Sword.
  • Key Attack: Plumed Gale Thrust — A red-flash charging thrust that tracks across the arena. Must be avoided via Ghost Step or parried with a high-cadence one-handed blade.
  • Tactic: Exploit her recovery frames after her triple thrust string. Switching to a two-handed blade (like the Scarlet Wraithblade) during staggers accelerates her Sha-Chi depletion.

Phase 2: Queen of Iron and Jade

  • Fighting Style: Discards her rapier to fight with acrobatic, bone-cracking hand-to-hand martial arts.
  • Cadence: Tremendously elevated attack speed. Strings together spinning sweep kicks, flying knee strikes, and qi palm blasts.
  • Tactic: Her Sha-Chi meter regenerates rapidly when she enters defensive stance. Continuous aggression and instant weapon swaps are required to break her guard.

Phase 3: The Triad Climax

  • Fighting Style: Mu Xiaokui summons her twin giant clockwork guardians: Iron Fiend (heavy tank with cleaver) and Jade Dancer (aerial acrobat with razor fans).
  • Tactic: Use the Tiger Cannon Prosthetic or Dread Axe to shatter Iron Fiend's mechanical armor first, removing the threat of off-screen ground slams before focusing back on Mu Xiaokui.
